Getting Started

What exactly does Repair Lift do?

We build a complete lead-generation engine for heavy-duty diesel repair shops. That means Google Ads targeting high-ticket diesel work, call tracking that ties every incoming call back to a specific ad, a dedicated team that manages your campaigns full-time, and performance-based pricing so our incentives are tied to yours.

We don't just run ads and send you a monthly report. We own the entire funnel — from the search query to the recorded call — and optimize every step of it.

How do I get started?

First, check if your territory is still available. We only work with one shop per market, so your area may already be taken. Fill out the form on the territory page and we'll get back to you within 24 hours.

If your area is open, we'll schedule a call to walk through your current numbers, your capacity, and whether the math works for your shop specifically. We don't take every shop — only ones where we're confident we can generate a return.

How long does it take to get campaigns live?

Once you're onboarded and your territory is confirmed, we typically have campaigns live within 7–10 business days. That includes setting up your tracking number, building the ad campaigns, writing the copy, and configuring the call recording system.

Google's algorithm needs 2–4 weeks to season — meaning it takes time for conversion data to flow back and improve targeting. Most shops see the first meaningful results within the first 30 days and see performance compound significantly by month 2 and 3.

Do I need to already be running Google Ads?

No. We build everything from scratch. If you already have an account, we can audit and take it over. If you don't have one, we'll set it up under your business — you always own the account, even if you ever stop working with us.

02

Pricing

How much does it cost?

There are two components: your ad spend and our management fee.

  • Ad spend goes directly to Google. We recommend starting at $3,000/mo ($100/day) to compete meaningfully in the auction for high-ticket diesel work.
  • Our management fee is a percentage of your ad spend, not a flat retainer. We earn more only when you spend more, which only happens when you're seeing ROI.

Why percentage-based? Because flat retainers create the wrong incentive. With a flat fee, an agency gets paid the same whether you grow or not. With our model, we grow our revenue by growing yours.

Are there any setup fees or contracts?

No setup fees. We do require a minimum commitment period to give the system time to work — Google campaigns need data to optimize, and results compound over time. We'll walk through agreement terms on our intro call.

We're not in the business of locking people in with hostage contracts. If you're not getting results, that's a conversation we'll have directly.

What's the minimum monthly budget I need?

We require a minimum total monthly budget of $3,000/mo in ad spend to get into the system. Smaller budgets simply can't compete in the Google Ads auction for high-value diesel keywords — you'd be outbid by competitors with deeper pockets and get no data to optimize from.

At $3,000/mo you should be generating 32–80 calls/mo at $20–$50 per call. At an average $1,600 ticket, 8–10 jobs more than covers the spend.

What happens to my ad account if I stop working with Repair Lift?

You own your Google Ads account. Always. We set it up under your business credentials, not ours. If you leave, you take the account, the historical data, and everything in it. We don't hold your account hostage.

03

Results

What kind of results can I realistically expect?

Across our portfolio, the math typically looks like this at a $3,000/mo starting budget:

  • 32–80 inbound calls per month at $20–$50 per tracked call
  • 8–10 booked jobs at a $1,600 average ticket
  • $13K–$16K in attributed revenue from $3K invested

As call data flows back to the algorithm and our team refines targeting, cost-per-call drops and conversion rate improves. One of our Illinois clients cut their CPL from $80 → $31 on the same ad spend.

These are real numbers from live clients. You can talk to them. We'll give you their actual phone number — not a testimonial card.

How soon will I see results?

Some shops see their first attributed jobs within the first two weeks. One of our Texas clients hit 7× ROAS in the first 25 days — $19K in jobs before the campaigns had even fully seasoned.

That said, the system compounds over time. Month 1 is data collection. Month 2 is optimization. Month 3+ is where you start to see consistent, predictable call volume. Don't judge the system on week one.

How do you attribute revenue to the ads?

Every call that comes through your tracking number is recorded and logged in the system. We can tell you which calls came from which keywords, which ads, which times of day, and how many of those calls turned into booked work.

Our Account Manager listens to recorded calls, flags missed opportunities, and feeds quality call data back to Google's algorithm — so the system learns to find more customers like your best customers, not just the highest volume of calls.

Can I verify the results you show on the site?

Yes. Every result on this site comes from a real shop owner with a real phone number. We'll give it to you before you sign anything. Call Ed Mazan. Call the Texas shop owner. Ask them directly what their revenue was before and after, what the experience has been like, and what they'd tell another shop owner considering us.

That's not a case study. That's a reference call.

How It Works

What does day-to-day management look like?

Your dedicated pod consists of an Account Manager and a Senior Media Buyer. The AM listens to every recorded call, monitors lead quality, and keeps you informed. The media buyer manages bids, keywords, and campaign structure in real time — not on a monthly review cycle.

Both are bonused on your ad spend, which only goes up when you're seeing ROI. That's the alignment mechanism. They don't win unless you win.

Will I need to change anything about how my shop answers the phone?

No changes to your existing phone setup. We provision a local tracking number that forwards directly to your current line. Your team answers exactly the same way they always have.

What changes is visibility. Every call gets recorded. Every missed call gets flagged. We'll identify patterns in your call handling — common drop-off points, slow response times, missed upsells — and give you specific, actionable feedback on how to close more of the calls you're already paying for.

How do you decide which keywords to bid on?

We bid based on job value, not search volume. Injector repair searches get higher bids than tire changes because the ticket is $3,000+ vs $200. We're constantly adjusting this based on what types of calls are actually converting into booked work at your shop.

This is the difference between an agency that optimizes for clicks and one that optimizes for bay revenue. Clicks are vanity. Revenue is the metric.

What reporting do I get?

You have access to a mobile dashboard where you can see every inbound call and message in real time — from your phone, your truck, or your office. No waiting on monthly reports to know what's happening.

We also send regular performance summaries with cost-per-call, call volume, conversion rate, and attributed revenue. And your Account Manager is available directly — not through a ticket system.

Is It Right for Me?

What type of shop is this built for?

Heavy-duty diesel repair shops. Specifically shops that work on Class 6–8 trucks — injectors, clutches, radiators, DPF, fleet PM contracts. If that's your core business, this is built for you.

We do not work with general automotive shops, light-duty only, or transmission-only shops. We're 100% diesel-specialized because that's where we have proven systems, deep keyword data, and a track record we can actually stand behind.

My bays are already pretty full. Is this still worth it?

Depends on whether you want to grow or stay the same size. If you're at capacity and happy there, this probably isn't the right time.

But if you want to add capacity, hire more techs, reduce dependency on one or two big accounts, or build a pipeline that supports expansion — then yes, this is worth having even if your current bays are full. We help you plan for the version of your shop that's 30% bigger, not just fill the holes you have today.

One of our Chicago clients, Onsite Mechanical, went from $121K to $192K/mo — the best month in seven years — while their top-account dependency dropped from 60% to 39%. They weren't empty. They were smart.

I've been burned by marketing agencies before. Why is this different?

Most agencies charge a flat retainer. That means they get paid the same whether you grow or stagnate. Their only incentive is not to get fired. They optimize for survival, not your revenue.

Our fee is a percentage of your ad spend. The only way we grow our revenue is if you're seeing enough ROI to justify increasing your spend. If you're not growing, we're not growing. That's a fundamentally different relationship.

On top of that: we only work with one shop per market. We have no incentive to underdeliver for you and then sign your competitor next month. Your territory is your territory, and we're all in on making you the dominant shop in it.

Do you work with shops outside the US?

Yes — we work with diesel shops across the USA and Canada. Check the territory page to see if your area is still open.

What if my territory is already taken?

We'll let you know immediately. We don't take deposits on closed territories or put you on a waitlist that goes nowhere. If your area is locked, we'll tell you straight.

Territories do occasionally open up — if a client stops growing or the partnership ends. You can leave your contact info and we'll reach out if something changes in your area.
